Growing food not golf
The city is looking at the possibility of creating new opportunities for food growing at its golf courses.
See update on January 11, 2022 Committee meeting here:
** Deadline for feedback is July 12**
They need to hear that food is a priority for these neighbourhoods. Please share this with your networks and make it clear this is not about golf, it's about making green spaces available to more people and making space for food!

*Note: review staff have only identified 2 courses for food production (Tam O'Shanter and Dentonia) as the other courses are on floodplains. It's still important to speak out for food growing in the west and north as there may be opportunities for limited planting. And they still need to hear that people want to grow food!
