Volunteers are the lifeblood of a community park group. Whether your group already has the support of volunteers or you’re hoping to increase your volunteer capacity, this workshop will help you implement strategies to attract and retain people who give their time to park improvement efforts.

The workshop will run from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm followed by a tour of Scarborough Village Community Garden in Fred Johnson Park from 4:00 pm to 4:45. John from Scarborough Village Community Garden will share his story and experience starting a community garden.

Light refreshments will be served.

The workshops are free, but registration is required as space is limited.
