At the 11th International Public Market Conference, Councillor Carroll declared the second week in June Toronto Public Market Week.
An opportunity to celebrate the wide and diverse range of public markets in our city and increase awareness of their role in fostering inclusive local economies, regional supply and social connections at a neighbourhood level.
