Ringfire Productions and NishDish have joined forces to bring you this enriching community event that celebrates Indigenous traditions and ecological practices, reduces waste, and promotes sustainability. This is a truly unique event that honours our communities and builds resilient spaces for Indigenous art, culture, agriculture, and traditions. This is an indoor event that includes unique vendors, artisan crafts, organic healthy food, art, music and more!
Highlights include:
Attendance of Chief Laforme and Elders Pauline Shirt, Cindy White, and Cat Criger
Seasonal and locally harvested food prepared by traditional protocols that express a deep history of sustainable agricultural practices
Maker/Crafter/Artisans of are of First Nation-Metis-Inuit decent with crafts enriched with history, stories, and traditions
Performances by traditional big drum groups and hoop dances
Live creation of murals by StreetARToronto
