Whether you are a condo dweller with a balcony, a backyard gardener or part of a community collective, West Queen West BIA Restorative Landscapes Team is proud to offer plants from the streetscape plant planters for adoption to extend Pollinator Paradise into the surrounding community.

Flight Centre sponsored the cleanup and mulching of the adjacent community space to their business at 612 Queen St. West and is supportive of our initiative to re-purpose streetscape plantings into a pollinator and medicinal garden that the community can help co-create and enjoy!

West Queen West Art + Design District has been supportive since 2015 via Joyce Mason and Robert Sysak integrating #permaculture ideals, biodiversity, wild looking planters with 100s of species. Robert Sysak is a great spokesperson for providing pollinator habitat in #Toronto is now happy to work on launching polinator-friendly education celebration programs as an applicant to Bee City's business program.

The vision for the community garden is to demonstrate as many layers of creativity through the lens of an Urban Forest Garden Landscape that is not too uncommon in the urban and peri-urban realms. In this case we have mature oaks and a potential fusion of oak savannah medicinal herbal pollinator garden..

We have a few concepts a brewing.... What do you have to add?
