Ryerson Urban Farm Harvest Party

October 24th 2016. 15:00 to 18:00
Come gather with the Ryerson Urban Farm to celebrate the bountiful (and hot!) season we had this year. Enjoy the fruits of our shared labour at a pie tasting contest, appreciate nature’s decomposition processes by learning how to grow your own mushrooms and use vermicompost, and help us plant garlic to overwinter for next summer’s harvest. Following that, stretch out your legs in a good ol’ fashioned contra dance!

We will be acknowledging the hard work and dedication of all who make this groundbreaking project possible (thank you!), and we will provide opportunities to learn more about the Ryerson Urban Farm, what’s on the horizon, and how to get involved. All are welcome! We hope to see you there.
