Homegrown Park Rangers Annual Milkweed Party
May 29th 2016. 12:00 to 17:00Sunday, May 29, from noon to 5 p.m. our team of Homegrown Park Rangers will be at the southwest end of Christie Pits Park with a limited number of milkweed seed packs and plants for sale, plus butterfly-friendly art and crafts.
If you’ve been to any past Homegrown events, you already know we love to collaborate with other groups to amplify the fun factor. This year we’re again hosting our milkweed pickup at the same time as three other great events in the park — the Bike with Mike festival, the North American Native Plant Society plant sale and the Christie Pits Art Crawl.
